For the past five years, she has served as a dedicated Substitute Teacher, engaging with students of all ages and backgrounds. Her work has always centered on understanding, empathy, and creating connections.
A passionate advocate for those navigating challenges, Katie is especially drawn to individuals who seek support and are open to personal growth—whether they approach it with openness or a touch of stubbornness. She believes deeply in meeting people where they are, offering guidance grounded in lived experience. She approaches each interaction with sincerity, compassion, and zero judgment.
Outside of work, Katie finds joy in gardening, swimming, spending time outdoors, and relaxing around a fire with her two children and their beloved animals. Her daughter and son may be complete opposites, but together they fuel her motivation to build a kinder, more understanding world.
